Why we started Bark and Earth

We didn’t want to build another pet brand like the hundreds or thousands there are. Bark & Earth was born on a simple afternoon. It was one actually we’re watching our dog sleep soundly on a bed that looked anything but comfortable. That’s when it hit us. Our best friends deserve better so not just comfort but care quality and the impact we leave behind.

Our dogs give us everything from loyalty, laughter, paw prints, and best of all unconditional love. The least us owners can do is give them a space that feels safe, soft and something that thoughtfully made.

At Bark & Earth, we make Eco conscious beds right here in Canada. Not overseas and not mass produced. We proudly keep things close to our home because we really believe in quality craftsmanship, supporting local jobs and doing things the right Canadian way- slow, with intention, and built to last.

Our beds are designed with materials that are temperature regulating the naturally adapt to your dogs body, which keep them cool in the heat, and cosy when it’s cold & freezing. So no more panting all throughout the night or restlessly switching spots a million times. Just deep and comfy sleep.

We also use natural and recycled materials wherever we can. We work with Canadian manufacturers who care about sustainability and animal safety as much as we do. The result? Beds that feel amazing for your pup, look great in your home, and leave a greener footprint on the Earth.

This is just our beginning. We have a long way to go, and we’re excited to grow with the committee of dog lovers who care about their pets and the planets they run on.
